Built a Jazz Rat for a guy in Japan.
He asked if I could etch a Dalek on the front, I said- Sure thing!

This one has switchable clippers, Ruetz on a pot and a clean blend.
The dalek 'ear' flickers when you play. If you're a Dalek fan you'll probably think that's pretty cool.

I've cooked up the opamp based blend circuit derived, in part, from the Jack Deville buffer. Works great. :D

That is cool beyond words.
All I can hear is a Dalek going "DISTORT! DISTORT!"
In other words, this rules.
This definitely deserves more love. Really like the etch, the shading is impressive.
Awesome build AND on perf. :o
Looks Awesome!
Thanks Guys!
@Bill, I use a dot matrix to get degrees of grey- and your Rat looks pretty great too!

Dots! Great idea, I should be able to do that through Photoshop. I'll have to give it a try.
Do you use Ferric Chloride and how long do you usually etch for?
I use Mutraic/peroxide.
The time depends on the size of the etch and the condition of my acid. I keep it in a lid free tub to re-oxygenize. The more I've used it the more time it takes to cut, but for detail or tiny dots, slow is best.
Wow!! That Dalek looks really good...used to scare the shit out of me when I was young :)
Inside looks very pro, nice vero build proper bty box. The guy getting that pedal will be really happy.
Congrats
