Title: TS9 Diodes
Post by: masterlk on February 06, 2011, 02:42:27 AM
Can I swap the stock 1n914 diodes for BAT41's in a TS9?

Definitely. I would also try LEDs, 1n34as, 1n270s or 1n60s. All of those would give you good results.

Great, thanks! I would like to try the 1n270's but I'm out...I really liked them over the 1n34a's & the BAT41's in my Sunking build. Since I wasn't using the BAT41's I thought I would play god with the TS9. ;)

If you have enough diodes, try two 1n270s in series per side. You'll get a little more volume out of it and still retain the sustain and texture of that diode type.
