I have a modulated delay clone I built (DBA Echo Dream 2) and I have some LFO ticking/throbbing that I can't quite remedy. I did reroute some wiring that lessened the noise but its still there and I'd like to phase it out completely if possible.
I build the circuit on perf not giving to too much pre planning - yes, I'll face palm myself.
I'm wondering if the continuing LFO throb has to do with a sharing of the power and signal grounds. Has anyone experienced this with other circuits?
What is the best way to implement, I guess power and signal ground isolation? Do I need to keep all the power grounds together, and the signals together and have them meet in one location?
What about for the DC jack?

I've been learning about this stuff too. The best thing I've learned is that your LFO and Audio grounds will need to meet up at the Ground connection. So, in other words, you need to plan out your layout a little more.

I didn't download the schematic and I'm not familiar with the project but I'd recommend separating the 9V source between the LFO circuit and the rest of the circuit with a 100 ohm resistor or ferrite bead and a decoupling cap. The cardinal tremolo is a good example of this.
