Title: NON PEDAL: Class E power amplifier @900MHz
Post by: micromegas on August 08, 2013, 08:43:03 AM
Although non suitable for guitar, I though I could post this as it is my second try at SMD soldering and  I'm quite proud. Not very neat but it works OK.

Note: the extra solder over the copper is used to make ground connections

If you wanna build one here you got the schematic (although I don't recomend it as the transistor costs about 90 €, 120 $ aprox.)

interesting, I always like seeing non-pedal projects. what do you plan on using it for?

It's already been sent to another university to test RF devices. The ones we have in the lab are much better than this one (and expensive).
Next project, already designed, is a mixer   at 1GHz and 1.5GHz
