Title: Pork Barrel Effect Level mod
Post by: junkemail86 on August 31, 2013, 01:20:34 PM
I couldn't find much info on this.  It seems that the older versions of the Pork Barrel included info on how to add an effect level knob (similar to the TonePad layout).  Has anybody tried it and think it's worth it?  Or does the depth knob give enough control to go from light to heavy chorus?  I'm about to start my build, would like a fairly versatile pedal but one less knob is always nice.

Thanks!

Hi, I am working on tonepad chorus with mix mod. At the moment I am waiting for some parts and soon as they come i will post mine impressions.

I did the mod on mine and I like it a lot.  Goes from subtle to lush.

Just in case anybody else had a similar question, I just finished my Pork Barrel with v3207/BL3102 from Mammoth.  It sounds great.  Was a little too subtle at slow settings for me, so I did the TonePad depth mod (doubled the 47 pf capacitor) and I'm loving it.  With the depth knob all the way down, it is pretty tame so I didn't feel the need to add the level knob mod as well.

Great project!
