Title: Shoot the moon w/vactrol
Post by: hammerheadmusicman on September 08, 2013, 11:09:29 AM

I've never been a fan of the 'roll your own' as I find it's always been hit or miss.

Does anyone have any experience of this with VTL5C3 or NSL-33, as I have both of these in my parts emporium.

George

You only need a ~500K swing between light and dark. Either of those will be fine and the 5C3 is in fact overkill.

Nsl 32 sorry. Would the vtl work ok?

Edit: I meant sound wise.

I haven't found any of the more common vactrols that *don't* work in the STM or the granddaddy Tremulus Lune.
