Title: Calling 1590A experts.
Post by: RobA on October 19, 2013, 02:03:17 AM
Assuming that pots and switches aren't board mounted and that there are two pots and one SPST switch, how small does a board need to be to be practical for a 1590A build?

I can easily fit a 60mm long x 33mm wide PCB into a 1590a.  The recent Klon layout I did is 65mm long, but I did put a cutout for the posts in the front of the enclosure.

Since I use full size enclosed 1/4" sockets, the depth of the pots and switches don't factor in too much with my builds.  I know some folks use open jacks and they may plan things out differently.

Sure thing.  Good luck with the layout.
