Title: Reboxing a Wren & Cuff Caprid...
Post by: MrSimple on October 23, 2013, 07:16:12 PM
Looking for some help.

I have a Wren and Cuff Caprid, which i absolutely love. However (and probably much to the chagrin of some purists) the footprint isn't pedalboard friendly. The thing is huge! While I appreciate the attention to aesthetics and detail, I'd like to downsize it a bit. Has anyone ever done this? Is there a recommended enclosure out there I should use?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Looks like it is pretty big.

I've heard that the Caprid is a replica of the RAM's head muff.

My humble recomendation: wait for the Madbean Mudbunnys to be on stock again and build yourself the RAM's head version on a 1590B box. Compare it to the Caprid and try to sold the one you dislike most.

Or, if you want to get really funky , you can build a Ram's head into a 1590a.

SPAM ALERT: I offer boards for those from time to time.

Mr. Pickdropper, I don't know why but in the last weeks almost any comment or pedal of yours remembers me of some Monty Python's recording. I thank you for that.

(no pun intended, I simply love Monty Python)

Yep, that skit was going through my mind when I posted it.
