Title: The Mighty Boneyard?
Post by: pryde on November 13, 2013, 12:14:03 AM
I just used my last fabbed Boneyard pcb and built it up for a buddy of mine. Such a great circuit  :) I of course made a small klon buffer on vero and wired it pre-input to eliminate the notorious squeal.

I know there are still etched pcb options available for the old 2 channel and the new single channel version BUT, any plans to bring back the 2-channel Boneyard fabbed pcb with maybe a buffer built in? I think that would be a rocking addition to the distortion section.

Now everyone chant in unison with fists in the air: "Boneyard, Bonyard, Boneyard..."

That sounds like a great idea. I'd be down to do a new boneyard layout with a buffer. Maybe you can point me to a schematic of the buffer you used?

You bet. Used this one attached on a few boneyard builds and it works a charm. I know others have also used a transistor-based buffer with good results as well.
