First build of 2014; the 'Freak Fuzz.'
Derived from a Ge FY-2, my turret layout, ditched the "fuzz' control, tuned the bias (Q2 is at 4.49v), added switchable output caps for a bit more beef and a polarity inverter IC for the PNPs.

Trannies gains are Q1 = 67hfe & Q2= 79hfe.

Working on a clip...
Here it is, my first ever Cubase recording....
Playing is rough as guts, it's all improvised, no eq, mastering or any idea about anything much... :P ...but sure had fun!
Guitar is a tele with the fuzz on everything except the first arpeggiated chord. Different tones just by using the guitar controls.

Wow. Nice etch and it's dripping with mojo! Love the turret (amp) style build there. Sweet.
Bitchin from the stump go!
Ah yes, the old family photos. I thought we'd destroyed all the copies. Odd that you'd end up with one.
Very nice etch. Dig the turret, too.
guy on the left is trying to fart !
He waiting for someone to hold up a match...
Perfect image for your pedal and extra mojo kudos for the curly-q lead on that resistor!

Kind of has a old school EHX mojo vibe to it. Wish I had the goods and know how to burn it into the box like that
The loops in those resistor leads! Now you're just showing off.
Full of mojo and a great etch! Looks awesome!

Rumor has it that Archduke Franz Ferdinand wound his resistors exactly the same way.

Well based on that alone, 2014 is going to be an excellent year.
Plus Franz Ferdinand's reanimated corpse approves, so what more could a lad ask for?
That is one freaky fuzz
That's just sick cool. I love the point to point. Awesome build top to bottom.
yeah, pretty much gonna have to have a clip of this one. Love it. Looks like Mojo is the new Black for 2014!

Wow, I love it when people whose builds I love CAN PLAY. That was an awesome demo man, that fuzz is bitchin.
Hey, thanks mate! It was your excellent FS&H demo that inspired me to try doing a demo this way. ;)
well, you did MUCH more than just try hehe, that's an awesome piece of music, I love the distant sounds, very interesting positioning of tracks, I dig your style
