Hi All:
I've been burned before by not buying the correct components. I've yet to make a successful build, so I'm as noob as you get. If someone could look over the caps I'm buying from Mouser for the Bumblebee and Pastyface I would really appreciate it.
Also, I cannot find the 1n34a diode on Mouser. Any tips on a suitable replacement?

These look about right?
Thanks so much,
George
You have the correct values (i.e. 100n, etc) and types (film, electrolytic, ceramic) for all the caps but you need to consider VOLTAGES.
You need to stick with LOW voltage caps whenever possible. When you select high voltage caps (i.e. >50v) the caps get big and may not fit the pcb. For example the C2 tonebender 220pf cap you linked is 2000v rated which will be to large. Also, the C6 2.2n caps you linked are rated at 100v and will be quite large as well. Go low voltage!
The exception to this is when you use axial film caps as you chose for C1,C5 bumblebee as they are 400v film caps but the pcb has room for them to use as an option (as well as low volt caps)
Lastly, mouser does not carry any germanium diodes that I am aware of (i.e. 1n34a)
Hey, thanks Pryde. I wasn't aware I should look out for voltage. Will do.
I took a look at Mouser, and couldn't find some of those caps at 50V or less. Is there a supplier you prefer or is Mouser one of better choices?
Would something like this work for the ceramic cap? (C2 - tonebender 220pf cap)

I use xicon ceramics as they are cheap and work just dandy. Here are the 50v 220pf ones:

As far as film caps there are a lot of choices in lower volt options. Here are some Kemet brand 2.2n at 63v which are just fine:

All the Kemet brand caps at 63v or lower are sized right for pcb work.
