Title: Over the top Fuzz
Post by: RobA on January 22, 2014, 04:36:03 PM
I'm going to do some etching today, so I figured it would be fun to throw in a totally over-the-top fuzz. So, which one? (I've already put a Zombii and a Cosmo into the etch list.)

One of my favorites is the wholly mammoth...so meaty!

Univox Superfuzz.

If you do some vero layouts, there is the Mountaintakiing Megalith which is pretty brutal. Madbean is making a etch for it soon with his 2014 etch extravaganza releases. Also, I think the Super Fuzz that was mentioned is a good contender.

Univox Superfuzz.
I'm gonna have to build one, seems like this has been recommended a bunch lately.

Four replies, four different suggestions, I should have expected that :). Hmm how to choose? And, should some of these suggestions go in front of the Zombii and the Cosmopolitan?

Thanks for the suggestions guys and keep 'em coming if there are more.

I've always liked the Soda Meizer too! Devi Ever / Effector 13. Look it up!

I had just looked at and saved the schematic when I came back to check this thread. I think I'll have to do some breadboard playing with it first.

So far, after looking through the schematics of the suggestions, the Univox Superfuzz is in the lead. I think I'd do a layout for it though using the CA3046.
