Post by: Kipper4 on January 25, 2014, 07:25:07 PM
Hey guys I have a question.
Would it be ok to substitute the TL071 Vref buffer with half of a TL072.
I know the pinouts different.
Thanks

Sorry, but what is a Boliviator?

To answer your question: Yes, you can.

Since a TL072 is just a dual opamp of the TL071 single opamp, there's no reason why you couldn't. As you've mentioned - mind the pinout and you'll never notice the difference.

Thanks guys
I've since discovered version 2 which does away with the Vref buffer
I think I might do it instead.
Advice appreciated.
