Title: Where to get a stacked pot with dual-C50K and G100K (like in a Boss MT-2)?
Post by: kothoma on February 07, 2014, 06:58:35 AM
Does anybody know where to source a stacked/concentric pot with one dual C50K and one G100K (or maybe a B100K)?
So essentially this is three pots for two knobs.
(The Boss MT-2 (http://www.hobby-hour.com/electronics/s/boss-mt2-metal-zone.php) uses this for semi-parametric mids.)

You can fin the model number here and after go to Mouser or Smallbear Maybe.

Thanks!

So the Alpha RD923DF (http://www.taiwanalpha.com.tw/english2014/p_e_060.htm) would be a model series like that.
Hm, Mouser (or any other major seller I checked) doesn't seem to carry any of these.  :(

Maybe Boss has them custom made anyway?

For the Dual -C50k you can use this http://www.smallbearelec.com/servlet/Detail?no=1032 with a 50k resistor in parallel to achieve aprox the 50k that you need and for the "G" taper i don`t know.

So the idea is to split the pot in two separate pots.

Well, I have a nice supply of dual-C50Ks... But an additional concentric pot would really save space, esp. it there are more of them.
