I was wondering if anyone could help me with the limitations of the Processor Chips in the Zero Point circuits.
I would like to get a very "digital" sounding echo without the filtering IF the PT processors are able to create a full range output. There is the "Shimmer" setting but I am not hearing the high end I would like to hear. I'm looking at the filtering on that part of the circuit but not smart enough to think uF to frequency yet..
Is this possible?
THANKS!!!
After reading the DATA Sheet for the PT2399 chips it states "anytime you need an analog sounding echo" and there is a low pass before and after the A/D D/A converters. Still, any comments ideas are welcome.
the chip is not capable of sampling frequencies beyond say 2k-3k Hz (without actually checking the datasheet). unfortunately, there is no hack to fix this, it's a hardware limitation.
Yea, that is the case. I figured out the low pass filtering roll off on the cleanest loop mode at about 15k...so it's fer sure the chips.
I'm finding most people want an analog sound anyway. Now if only Tap Tempo.....
