Title: Cleggy's mini Doppelganger
Post by: juansolo on February 12, 2014, 07:56:58 PM
Built on Alan P's board (Cleggy populated the board, I did the installation). Rather marvellous, no ticking, works perfectly.

There's no getting around asking, even with all the press on this lately....  ::)  Which LDR did you use?

Other than that, flawless as usual.

Tayda ones in that, we also used 2k rate pots (recommended). It sounds a little different to mine which uses Futurlec 2A and 1k pots. But there's not much in it.

The potential for utter chaos inside there is so high and you pulled it off without a speck out of place, that's fantastic inside and out.

Not tayda.

They are the 50k-20m ones from rapid.

Ah! I had it in my head they were Tayda ones. No idea why.

Memory is not one of my strong points...

Good to know
All the ones Ive build have no tick
I specified separate Audio and CV sections to the PCB which Alan did the layout for.

That phaser is sexy.

I still expect to see porn star twins when I click on a build report from Juan with 'Doppelganger' in the subject line. Kinda let down.

That's just spectacular!

So many knobs and switches, but it doesn't look crowded, confusing or unfriendly. Just awesome.

I'm pretty sure this is actually too neat. Can you have another go and mess up some of the wires a little?

it'd make the rest of us feel better

If I ever make another, I'll make it so ;)
