Title: Deoxit - Faderlube or Fadergrease?
Post by: Beedoola on March 01, 2014, 04:27:39 PM
I just got a EHX HOG and the previous owner had cleaned the sliders with deoxit. The sliders have since lost their smooth feel. I wanted to know if the deoxit faderlube would bring them back to their stock position, or whether I might need the fader grease?

Thoughts?

Try Fader lube first,  most times you would need to dissassemble the fader or pot to use fader grease

Should  I get the F5 5% spray or the FL100 dropper which is 100%?

I have no experience with the 5%,  I use the 100% spray,  S-CF100S-L2  it is nice that it is pressurized to ensure that it reaches in the components.   http://www.amplifiedparts.com/products/S-CF100S-L2
