Yep! You really need a PCB designed to mount those pots in place. Unfortunately there are no knobs that small (that I'm aware of)...

I did see these earlier, when I searched .... I wasn't sure if I could adapt one to a regular trim pot spacing on a pcb, but I might go ahead and give it a shot!
If you use the right trimmer I have seen it where you can just buy the knob insert.

yeah, I think Piher [sp?] has those inserts
Basically, I wanted to make a Cardinal with the 'Wave' trimmer as a mini - adjuster knobby thingy :)
If you want those and the trimmers, bitsbox.co.uk sell them, that's the only place I know of but i'm sure others do.
