None more black! at least on my board... This is Marks vero layout of the Monolith Fuzz Oracle and I am in love. You can really tame this to sound like a great mild fuzz or to face ripping/melting madness.

I used the following transistors in mine:
Q1: AC152 Hfe 114
Q2: AC125 Hfe 306
I etched a enclosure for it and I stole some art work from a doom/sludge band cover but for the life of me I cant find the link to the album now. Anyways, its not my art.

Really happy with the sound of this guy and will probably knock my 4 knob fuzz face off my board for now.

Really beautiful etch, Cody. Great job.
Hell of an etch! Looks great on the inside too.
any chance of a soundclip, sounds like something I would love :)
oh, and as I was telling before...your work is something else, one of my favorite builders for sure
absolutely fantastic,
I must get into this etching lark as I'm getting pissed of with decals!
Mark
That etch is stunning!
Awesome etch. Listening to the demo on tagboards I'll have to add one of these to the 'Must Build List' , sigh.
Chuck
Gorgeous etch! It's really a striking image and incredibly well executed.
Looks amazing dude!
Thanks everyone. This is really a fun pedal, I have been messing with it all morning. Just for those who do not know, I have a tutorial I made on how I do my reversed etches.

Great job. Love the etch!
Your tutorial is very helpful. I'd love to see the rest of the process.
Another amazing etch! I'm always excited to see your new builds, the bar just keeps getting higher!
dude!!! so good.
"Must learn to etch....must learn to etch...."
Beyond cool. Huge Kudos on this one. 8)
Just stunning.
Great tutorial too. How long do you sand the enclosure for? Is it worth using a belt sander?

Thanks for the kind words. Do you mean before the etch or after the etch?
Before the etch, I just wet sand for a few minutes just to remove any impurities in the enclosure and to clean the surface you will be etching.
After the etch, Very light sanding with 1000 grit wet sandpaper.
A belt sander will most likely tear up the enclosure since aluminum is really soft metal. Just my thought.
Cody
Ahh ok. Thanks. I meant before. Whenever I've etched enclosures in the past I sand and sand until my arms ache but I can never get all the imperfections out. There are always a few pits and scratches. I guess a belt sander would be overkill though.
That's one of my favourite etches I've seen.
Love the look and aesthetic on this one 8)
This looks fantastic! How do you guys get the paint so perfect after you etch the enclosure?
Awesome etch, Cody. i would love to hear how your build sounds, also.
