Title: how to fix uneven epoxy?
Post by: danwelsh on March 15, 2014, 09:44:52 AM
hi fellas, so o decided to try 5 min epoxy for my Loophole enclosure.....big mistake, it came out uneven as the stuff hardens before you get a chance to level it right. so.....my question is, if I buy some long set epoxy will this fill the voids? or any suggestions to what I should do?.....scrape it all off and start fresh maybe? Hindsight ill be sticking with clearcoat

if you get in quick enough, you might be able to peel it off.  Otherwise, scrape it off.

You need a slow set epoxy,  Envirotex is much easier to work with than that.  It may be worth a try.
