Title: In a galaxy nearby....
Post by: GrindCustoms on March 24, 2014, 04:56:35 AM
This weekend was all about space and time! :)

Tenebrion Reverb with some resistor value swaps to optimize mixing opamp stage and more reactive feedback control. Trimmer on the output to bring this back to unity.

And went for a 1590B, have'nt seen anyone do it yet, so i thought i should. In fact, the board is merely 2mm too wide to accomodate it.

Medium Brick.

Up Next!

Madbean SeaUrchin (DBD) w/JMK Taptation daughterboard.

Have'nt done anything particular on this, all built stock...

I like how the control layout still worked with the functionnality of the 2 layouts used, was able to have the DBD Mix pot board mounted and sitting on the Taptation board mounted Time pot.

The second 1/4 jack is a «Remote Out», at first i used a standard mono enclosed jack, but.... (facepalm) sleeve is physically grounded.... so when linked to the momentary SPST it was killing it. Ended using some stereo switched jack that i got from BLMS to try out, connecting to the Tip and Ring lugs, works perfect!

I do like that paint.

Fits in a Camden Boss '1590B' no trouble ;)

... And in a Mammoth 1590b enclosure. :-)

As a quick note, the tenebrion is ALWAYS on when I play. The only thing that changes is the amount.

I'm absolutely going to get one of these for when the Bricks come in!

Rej,

You could always try to shave/grind those millimeters off from the edges. It looks like you have a tiny bit of wiggle room to do so  ;)

Seems like, anyway, i'm now done ordering those enclosures from various US supplier, with the exchange rate, shipping cost over the quantity i order, custom fees.

It's now cheaper for me to order the 1590B directly from Hammond MFG.

Still have to order the other sizes from suppliers, Hammond can't match the price.

I had thought of it, but since it's not a personnal built, i wanted to keep everything intact, to insure reliability.... never know what gigging musicians does with is gear...

Thanks, i did the same process on both enclosures, simply had the depth pot turned fully clockwise on the Verb enclosure.   ;D

I did a fast overview/tutorial in the previous build report i did, «Cu + Krusher».
