Title: Lancaster
Post by: sgmezei on March 31, 2011, 04:05:20 PM
Here is a tubescreamer I built for my friends dad for his birthday. They grew up on Lancaster street and he spent some time in the military. I tied the army/lancaster theme together on top of some silver denim. The board is from GGG. I know everyone does a tubescreamer board but I would love to give that business to Bean......

Wow! I love it dude! Great job! That TS808 build is killer...Mine has the "Very Expensive Boutique Mods" in it but I decided to use symmetrical clipping cause to me sounded way better...

Those Bronze chickenhead knobs are amazing!!  :o where did you get them??

I got them from AES antique electronic supply. They look pretty sweet in person and I have to get some more because they were intended for a firefly amp I am building. I also want to find some clear ones so I can do what Bean did with the leds shining through the pots.

Looks great! The fabric cover looks super clean as always!
I've steered away from tubescreamer clones but I would get one from bean if he decided to released one too.
