I have an order going in, and I'm at the $181 dollar mark. So basically, I'm paying $201 including shipping, or I could add $20 to my order and get free shipping for $201.
So remind me what I'm forgetting to pick up there so I can add it to my order.
Jacob
If you don't need to put it in right now, I'll take a spin through what I need and top you up and pay the freight from your place to mine.
I wanna get it in today, before 3PM if possible, so it'll be here on Thursday.
Jacob
K, then I'll have to pass, I won't have a list ready by then.
these are pretty sharp knobs iirc 45KN015-GRX
I'd grab a 100 or so through-hole transistors or FETs. Stock up while they are still in production. At the cost savings of those quantities, you could always flog them off at a minor profit later if you didn't need them.
You can get one of those THAT Corp. chips to play with.

Are there ANY through-hole FETs or MOSFETs left at Mouser?
Anyway:
LT1054, though you probably have plenty of these
TLE2072CP -- to replace all your 072s (seriously, the noise is noticeably better)
These nifty Murata power converters:

H11F1 through-hole chips before they are impossible to get any more.
1/4" jacks, Neutrik NYS229's or if you prefer... the similar Switchcrafts.
My new favorite opamp
OP275GPZ

Already on the order ;)
Also - Jon, if I didn't either already have all that stuff or have no need for it, I'd add all those things.
I think I'll add some jacks though, good one Dave. And some Jfets. We'll see if that gets me to $200.
Jacob
...and you can order a few more Hammond boxes. The Mouser pricing on them aren't bad at all.
Cheers

BS170 and 2N7000 are both still in production....... for now.
Grabbing 100 of each would be about $20.

Considering how many BS170s I blow through in my recent designs, I guess I'd better do that with my next order. I'd been getting them piecemeal at Smallbear.
Maybe a groupbuy is in order. They're 8c each in quantities of 1000.
Those spiffy Fresnel LED lenses - wish smallbear would carry those.
Andrew.

Agreed, I pick up 10-15 of them with every mouser order I place. Nice to have around.

I think they're already marked obsolete. Plenty in SMD, though.
there's some p-dip stock available.
Jon - did you get my PM?

yup ... those are cool ... the company's a few miles away from me
I'm just glad to find out they have free shipping, but it means I'll have to actually wait, make a list, then order when I have enough... instead of ordering on the spur of the moment all the time. :~

Makes them about $0.52 cents each or is the ring wasted money?
I've ordered some rings, but haven't used them yet ... I've used a couple of the fresnels ... notice that they have both flush mount and some others, plus different color lenses.
anyway, you'll need to check their products, and order depending on the size LED you're using ...
Thanks for the tip, I mostly prefer to use 3mm and just drill a 1/8" hole and countersink it from the top. Sounds like the ring might not be needed.
Haberdasher has shown me this LED (http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=HLMPM201virtualkey63810000virtualkey638-HLMPM201) that he likes. No blue, but I'm gonna give it a whirl in classic red diffused.
Edit:added thanks and clarity

$200? The only time I ordered from Mouser I got free shipping to Europe at €65 or above. Is it that much different in Canada?

You might be right, but I'm unable to find any reference to the through-hole parts going EOL.
Their website seems to indicate Full Production:
http://www.fairchildsemi.com/pf/H1/H11F1M.html
H11F1M is listed as a standard through-hole part, so I think that's the one we want. I believe the H11F1VM should work as well and is significantly cheaper. From what I can tell, the only difference is the V series is certified to be compliant with IEC60747-5-2.
