Title: Madbean single sided pcb question
Post by: joer0952 on April 01, 2011, 10:10:08 PM
I noticed on my last order that some of the pcb's are single sided, and that the traces are silver.  Is that because the copper is plated silver, or are they just silver clad boards.  Just curious b/c I would like to do it to the boards that I make if possible.

They are copper traces that are tinned after etching.  MG Chemicals makes a product called Liquid Tin that is really good.  That's what I use anyway.
