Hey guys!
im starting doing the LED mod for my crybaby and saw in different instructions that the CLR should be soldered on the negative lid of the LED.
i always followed the MB standard wiring and there the CLR is soldered on the positive lid, what always made sense for me.
I thought that the electrons have to pass first through the resitor and then reach the LED and flows to the negative part...
this might be very stupid, but i got confused!!!
and well, it seems that both ways woks! i just dont really got how....
Cheers
I don't think it matters which side you attach the resistor to.
Here's a handy resistor calculator, too, if you need it:

It makes no difference. Whatever is most convenient.

I was told that since things are in series, it makes no difference. In this case, it's usually whatever's easiest.
Where I wonder about series order is when there's a capacitor and a resistor. Is there a need to put one in front of the other?

If we are talking about AC signals do what you want.

Well, using a 9V DC, how ate the rules for caps?
Cheers
There is no reason why I would have a series resistor and a cap connected to a DC power supply !?
+9V ---[=]---][--- ??
The circuit which comes to mind for this example is an astable multivibrator, usually used where you flash two LEDs....
