Title: polystyrene caps
Post by: Haberdasher on April 02, 2011, 05:05:25 PM
I never hear folks talk about them.  In fact, the only 2 things I know about them is they are listed under film caps at mouser, and they are supposedly sensitive to heat.

So, any of you guys ever use these?

Oh and btw, now I've got Fake Plastic Trees from Radiohead running through my head.  "She lives with a broken man......."  :)

My only experience IS A 470pf from soulsonics folk driver on fsb. Cool build, the leads are super thin- but the mojo is super fat!

Thanks sprayfe, I just read the thread over there.  He seems to like the caps well enough.
I think I'll audition a couple in c8 & c14 of my sunking.
