Title: Getting the Greenbean Close to the Neutrino
Post by: tenwatt on April 21, 2014, 06:13:05 PM
What can I do to the Greenbean to get it to sound pretty close to Madbeans old Neutrino board?

Any suggestions for the other diodes as a good contrast to this setup?

LED, Germs, low voltage Zener, JFETs, there's a whole world of possiblilities right here.

Curious if anyone has pulled off this Green Bean -> Neutrino build.  I followed the parts replacement mentioned above, flipped BC550s around backwards (as per build instructions) but am just getting a quiet fizzy guitar sound out of it.  I haven't started the brutal troubleshooting steps but just was curious if anyone has done this build yet... before I go chasing shadows...
cheers
