Is it not epic that the Cincinnati Reds are doing a LICENSED tie in with this?
HAHAHHA
Love it.
Lots of sound advice here. Don't wait until it's too late. Start them on episode 4. Fast forward all the Jar Jar stuff etc.
Don't forget the proper order for all of you planning to watch the movies in a steady marathon this Sunday.
Episode 4 > Episode 5 > Episode 2 > Episode 3 > Episode 6.

We're so saturated with Lego Star Wars that the sight of a normal Star Wars action figure would give me a giant scare, let alone actual live-action characters. Having lived through the whole movie phenomena, I for one prefer the artistic remove from George Lucas' more stupid indulgences. Put it this way: Commander Cody and Count Dookoo are much easier to take seriously when they're 4cm tall with cylindrical heads.

I'm probably not hardcore enough. My order is:
4 - cover to cover
5 - whole movie but go pee and make snacks through Dagobah stuff
6 - whole movie with Ewok scenes optional
1 - pod race
2 & 3 - kind of can't remember them. Can't watch any Anakin/Padme romance scenes.
Clone Wars is the best Star Wars ever made.
Ahsoka Tano is the greatest Jedi of all time. weird but true.
My oldest son, who now knows way more about Star Wars than I, told me that Jacob's sequence for watching (or not watching in the case of episode 1) is called the "machete sequence." I'm so proud that he knows stuff like that!!!
He also told me yesterday that all of the old cast is going to be in episode 7 except Lando. No Lando? Who's going to find out how Chewbacca's doin'?
Yep, the main 4 plus the droids. Plus a whole bunch of unknowns. There's one new female lead, and the Feminists are all upset that there aren't more.
Jacob
I'm a bit conflicted about what to watch his afternoon:
SW marathon or all the NBA game 7s?? No TiVo :(
Glad Blazers finally put away Houston. Rip City!!

I really enjoyed the Clone Wars
Movies that were drawn, not animated. But the animated series is actually fun to watch even though it's rubbish compared to the rest in my opinion.
May the Fourth Be With You!

No, it isn't mine.
And I thought I was cool for stealing my kids' Burger King Han Solo carbonite toy.
