Title: No input signal, LED always on. Bad switch?
Post by: ckim715 on May 17, 2014, 04:20:43 AM
I built an afterlife comp, and when I wired it all up to test it, I noticed the LED is always on, even in bypass. Furthermore, I get no signal when I hit the switch. I tested the signal, and it looks like there's nothing going into input, even from the switch. The bottom left lug is input, right? What's the probability of a bad switch?

just a thought, make sure you have the switch in the right orientation.  The terminals should be horizontal, not vertical.  Post some pix.

Bottom left lug is ground if you're using the madbean diagram. In which case lug 5 is fx input and input jack is lug 4 jumpered to lug 9
