I was looking on Farnell and they're £2+vat.

What's the deal with CPC and Farnell? I don't get the difference.

I don't either! I've ordered quite a few things from CPC. Very good quality compoments. Offering free delivery is great.

Thanks. Guys.
I looked at something similar on ebay. But decided they where too small to fit the pub given that they're sub minis and the whole switch body is less than 9mm and the holes in the Madbean pub have a 5mm spacing.
They're a fair price though so I might just get some for stock
I never though of looking on cpc despite having an account. Doh.
I'll have a good scout round pcs other switch in case.
Cheers guys

This will help.  I'm not looking at the Naughty Fish docs right now so can't help specifically

this is the same sort of switch type 1

http://www.smallbearelec.com/servlet/Detail?no=900

Ive tested with the DMM so I now know which pin is 1
but the pdf is not so helpful as both sets of switch pads are numbered 1 2 3
grrrrr
thanks MMLee

Is the sqaure pad pin1?

Any time you're unsure about a connection on a PCB, use the continuity setting on your multimeter and compare to the schematic. And/or look at the trace mask in the build document if there's one there.

Sussed it out
pin 1 is the sqaure pad because it connects to pin7 IC3
pin6 connects to IC1 pin7
thanks
