Title: Roland Jet Phaser AP7
Post by: LudfisterSound on April 12, 2011, 04:36:58 PM
I'd love to see a set of good PCBs for the Roland Jetphaser AP7. What makes this more interesting than just a phaser following a fuzz is the filtering of the distortion and of course the jet effect fast/slow thing. There are bunch of threads on this effect but none of them ever lead to a comprehensive or verified project although a few clones seam to have been successfully built.

This would be cool effect to clone. Probably kinda complex though wouldn't you think?

Well, that's part of the fun. It would probably be genius level, but I suspect that it wouldn't be much worse than an Aquaboy or Pork Barrel to build. Enough leg work has been done for the big brains to figure this out, I'd like to help but I mostly solder by numbers. Most of all, there is no Madbean phaser yet, and Bean's really should be the most awesome.

I remember him mentioning that he was working on a phaser. Probably not this one but I'm sure it will sound good. I'd like to see his stuff first honestly and a bunch of limited run clones of old boards!
