So.... I was going through the stash of stuff that I got while over in Hong Kong, and it looks like some B500R pots were mixed in with the B500K pot bin. Anyone know of a project that uses them? Anybody want them? Not sure what to use them for right now....

They are really good for ruetz mods on four knob rats. I usually put a resistor across a 1k pot to drop it down.

also a low gain fuzz face type with more "sweet spot" replace the 1k fuzz pot with a 500r.

Thanks for the suggestions! I may put up something up in the "For Sale" section. I'm not sure though.... searching around FSB i found this thread, and apparently they are used in this build... Need to find a sound clip to see if it's something worth building.

Haha... searching for a project based on owning weird parts! Usually I look at my pedal board and think to myself, "what could I add here?"

Looking at the build docs, I could use one of these as an external boost control in the Mysterioso Jr., correct?
