Title: 2pdt switch in fatpants 2013.
Post by: Stig on May 30, 2014, 08:51:13 PM
Hi all.

I just bought some new boards including the fatpants 2013.

Since Im only using 6 of the 9 pinouts on the 3pdt switch, would It be ok to use a 2pdt istead?

Thanks in advance.

Should be, most people use a 3PDT because we tend to keep stocks of those, and not DPDT stomps :)

If you are building the buffered bypass version, yes. If you want to build it true bypass, then you should use a 3pdt.

I have been building the buffered one. And have just track and traced my tayda order to be ready for Pick up. The dpdt I have are soft. I like soft. Sooooft:-)
Thanks guys.

Just make sure your soft dpdts aren't momentary...  ;)
