Title: Uploading Inkscape artwork to PPP for UV printing?
Post by: murdog47 on June 01, 2014, 01:37:27 PM
Can anyone help explain how to use artwork from Inkscape to get UV printed by PPP? They have requirements that I'm not sure I understand (must be a CMYK file, and MUST BE VECTORED, and not flattened). Thanks!  :)

Export from Inkscape as .ai format, cmyk (not rgb), and don't combine your layers. .ai is adobe illustrator format. .svg should also work.

Flattening and rgb usually happens when you export vector files into raster formats like bump, jpg, gif.  Harder to keep clean edges and scale appropriately without resolution issues like pixelization.

Hi guys! I'm going to place an order from PPP for their UV printing service... Is there anyone who has experience with this service, which could show me (us) their UV Printing Template, to understand what instructions have to be written in the NOTE section of the template?  ::) ::)
