Title: Vibe switch on Pork Barrel
Post by: sjaustin on June 03, 2014, 01:37:46 PM
Hey all, is there a simple way to put a vibe mod on a toggle switch on the current version (2011) of the Pork Barrel?

Lift R9 -- that will disconnect the dry path.

Thanks. So would it work to get a DPDT switch, install R9 across lugs 1 and 4, and then connect 2 and 5 to R9's spot on the PCB?

Your way is fine, but you only need a single pole switch.

3

1: PCB connection #1 (doesn't matter which pad)
2: Wire + resistor connected to PCB connection #2

or if you don't want a resistor floating in space
1: one side of the resistor + PCB connection #1
2: Other side of the resistor
3: PCB connection #2
