Title: Reverb/Resonance schematic?
Post by: GammaFlex on June 12, 2014, 11:50:24 PM
So I have recently become entranced with the idea of an analog resonance pedal. Similar to the Last Gasp Misty Cave (love that thing) and I want to build one. But all I can really find is either a delay or a straight up reverb.

anyone know of anything that's similar to that? Here's a vid showing what it does

I just really want that "chamber" sound it has in my rig. So if there's a relatively simply schematic/project I'd love to hear about it.

sounds kinda like a ring modulator like Catalinbread's Heliotrope

In some videos it almost sounds like a Ersatz Verben reverb made from a PT2399 with some kind of feedback loop. The pseudo reverb is a fun easy project that you could bread board up in a couple on minutes to play with.

I take back what I said before...it sounds in some settings like a synth filter into reverb and some kind of feedback

Sounds kind of like an Electric Mistress using the filter option (LFO taken out).  I'd bet Brian's board would get you in the ballpark.
