Title: First Serendipity
Post by: Rocktifier on April 16, 2011, 02:24:01 PM
Here's my first Serendipity build with the AD712.  Fired up first time although I had to fix a grounding issue right away.  When I make a mistake, its always the wiring...lol.  For some reason, once I grounded the output jack it stopped buzzing (even though I grounded the input according to the diagram)  Color is Sparkle Red from PPP with white LED. (sorry about the poor quality pics, I used the camera on my old phone which was not good)   Sounds great, love the smooth quality it has-cool pedal.  Built this for a friend of mine, now gotta build one for myself  ;D

Nice job man... I have been thinking about this design for a while... what guitar/amp do you have?

you probably had to ground the jack because the powder coating was insulating it. the finish on that looks really thoroughly done.
