Title: REQ: Vol pot id and source to buy

Need to replace this vol pot on my Roland SP-404SX but cannot id it and find a place to buy-
any help appreciated-

Looks to be a 9mm 50kB alps brand.  You can tell because of the "503B".  50 + (three zeros) = 50,000 ohm.  B means linear.  I see that mouser has some alps but not with the other two pins which seem to hold the pot more securely.  You should be able to use a regular 9mm 50kB pot in its place.

The two extra pins could be a switch.

Nope- it is a simple non-detented volume pot- no switch.

It looks to me like there are traces to those outer pins.

I found these on the ALPS site, but they don't list any as 50kB in this configuration. They look like the same type of pot though. Maybe Roland had the 50kB's made custom for them.
