Title: Recommend me a good booster for acoustic guitar.
Post by: micromegas on June 22, 2014, 06:59:18 PM
A friend of mine plays gipsy jazz and wants a good booster with a tone control to use on stage.

He's been using my Kingslayer for a while set completely clean and he wants a version of it without clipping options.

As Kingslayers are out of stock for now, I thought I could search for another options out there. Does anyone have any experience with this?

check out this "Kingon boost" on vero from Steve440 at fsb:

Basically 9v Klon without drive section
Buffer can be switched on/off via toggle, v/close to original apart from a few value changes.

Thanks! I'll check it out

I'll see if I can trace it tomorrow and adapt it a lil' bit for better perfomance with acoustic guitar.
