Title: Zero point mini diode question
Post by: RonaldJ on June 25, 2014, 06:24:49 PM
On the zero point mini is the 1n5817 absolutely needed? I ask because isn't it just for polarity protection?

You should use something there, but you can sub a 1N4001 or even a 1n914 if that is what you have. The voltage drop is lower on the 1N5817.
