Title: Pork barrel. Bad switch? Loud pop and delayed effect engage
Post by: zaviere on July 04, 2014, 05:40:20 AM
So I built the pork barrel a while back. But when I stomp it on, it makes a REALLY loud pop and the actual effect takes about a second to kick in. Could it be a bad switch? I had originally swapped out the switch so I thought I could rule out the switch, but I'm pretty sure i had ordered both from tayda. Had never ordered from there previously so I'm unsure of the quality. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

the only thing i can think of is that you are disconnecting power to the board with the switching. the switching should just route the signal either through the circuit or straight to the output - the circuit is always on.
