Title: Faultline Build
Post by: raulduke on April 22, 2011, 07:43:54 PM
Pics of my latest build.

This is by far my favourite OD/Distortion that I have built yet. It sounds absolutely amazing as a preamp for warming up my bass and the eq frequencies are perfectly tuned IMO. It also sounds mega with guitar.

Credit to the catalinbread guys who designed this circuit. I own a DLS as well and these guys certainly know how to design great sounding stuff!

I'm glad I built this when I did as well as I have noticed that the board is no longer for sale.

I will swap out the Log 1M gain pot for Rev Log at some point but is ok as it is for now.

Thanks for the compliments guys  :)

The LED bezels are from Banzai Music (www.banzaimusic.de) mate.

It is the best EU shop for guitar effects parts that I have found.

It is where I buy most of my parts from and they have a really good selection of everything (including LED bezels).

Nice look! That is a cool LED bezel! I've been wanting to build a catalinbread circuit for a while now. Thinking the DLS or merkin fuzz i think it is called. I'm gonna take your word that I'm gonna love them too!
