Title: 3PRR - cap fit question
Post by: Bret608 on July 18, 2014, 04:44:56 PM
So, I picked up a 3PRR along with a Pastyface so I can do the voltage inversion. Will regular 25v electros (11mm or so height) work okay with most 3PDTs? It doesn't look like minis are required, but thought it would be good to ask before I commit to my next parts order.

Thanks!

Yes the 11mm should fit.

Bean one question i have a 3PRR for a tonebender, but i used a metal power jack since has a positive ground i wont be a problem(i said that to me) but with the 3PRR i have grounding issues, its that normal??(sorry to ask in other person post, but i dont want to open a thread for something simple)

You don't want to use a metal DC jack with a metal enclosure unless it is isolated from the enclosure completely. And, the 3PRR takes a negative ground supply an converts in into a positive ground supply for your Tonebender.

Why not just use a plastic DC jack? They are easy to get almost everywhere.
