I've owned and built several chorus but the CE2 always remained my favorite... really close to the Maxon CS550..... but it's simplicity makes it a perfect piece of lush chorus.
My favrit chorus.
Jacob
Agreed, it's all that is needed. :D
That is so cool Rej, I have always wanted a CE-1 for my Fender Rhodes but I heard they are very temperamental. I may have to try a CE-2, I really just want that cool Steely Dan key sound.

I'd also like to have a CE-1.....for «museum» sake but other wise the CE2 is perfect, i like to use Chorus for lush weirdo cleans. Had a Maxon CS550 before, losts is place in the benefit of a PorkBarrel built, simply by it's simplicity and quality of sound.
After spending some time with this one vs my PorkBarrel, i prefer my clone. More depth and it got a broader range of rate settings. Not that i always use it in fast pace but i like it to go fast once in a while and the original unit is lacking in that departement.
