This is a GuitarPCB King of the British PCB that TreeSlayer gave me (Thanks:) Had some what I thought were issues with the gain knob but turns out this pedal just doesn't clean up too much. Pretty Marshally high gain pedal. I ended up leaving off C2 completely which sounded better to my ear. Lower values were recommended over on the GuitarPCB forum (those guys were extremely helpful in helping me determine if I had an issue) but completely gone sounded best in my rig:) Learned a lot in the process. Here are some pics and a 'Rushed' sound clip.

Wow! That looks fantastic man! That's a lot of wires and knobs too. You have a full fledged addiction like the rest of us don't you. :-)
Yes Jimmy, I'm afraid I do. My name's Phillip and I'm an addict. [hello phillip].
I was happy with off board wiring especially considering there are 6 pots.
People around here really raise the bar. Very grateful for the community here:)
Just realized the sound clip link doesn't work from Tapatalk app on my phone. Worked from the 'preview' on my laptop. Do I need to do something different?
Phil, that is brilliant. I have this board, but was reluctant to give it a go due to all the off board wiring. You've inspired me. :) I really enjoy Menatone's pedals. I've been dying to build the Red Snapper. I'm even considering building a perf layout from tagboard. Would love to hear what others, who have played/built this pedal, think of it. Once again, great build Phil. The led looks like a ruby in the kings' crown.
Thanks TGP39. The LED was intended to be a jewel in the crown. The drill guide I used in Photoshop made it look as if the LED would fit within decal jewel. Unfortunately, the diameter of the bezel fell just outside the decal jewel. Glad it still comes across that way:)

Nope, it( soundcloud) just doesn't work in tapatalk.
I really love the artwork on this!
Great looking and sounding pedal. Nice work, fellow addict. I'll be looking for you at the next meeting.
Thanks bcalla, I'll be by the coffee maker (my other vice)
Ha, cool.
I always wondered who'd tell Menatone that it's King of the Britons, not Britains.
>:( :( :o 8) ??? ::) :P :-[ :-X
Well done!
Wow, I've watched you step up your game with every build. Very nicely done and very classy looking. Great job!!!
Probably some guy in a Porsche. ;)
Looks great, agree your builds get better each time
"KING OF THE WHO?!?!?!" Nice build man. Love the art.
I appreciate the encouragement. Means a lot. This community has some great talent and it has challenged me (I'm a competitive person). The encouragement goes a long way in ensuring enjoyment at my 'current level of functioning':)
I look forward to the day when I can contribute more in the technical discussions and problem solving. I'm learning little by little;)

I know right? All ooh cool noise...I wish that I could design something that makes cool noises, but the theory behind it is way behind my grasp, I've lost a lot of brain cells over the years.
Nice build, man. I dig the color. Looks like you're feeding the monkey quite well. :)
