Title: Neutrino Power Supply/Noob Question
Post by: jball85 on April 29, 2011, 02:01:51 AM
Can I temporarily wire my neutrino without a dc jack and just use a battery until I can manage to get my hands on a dc jack? In other words I forgot to buy a dc jack, I live 60 miles from the nearest radioshack and I am broke. Any input would be appreciated thank you

Do I just connect the + (red wire) from the 9v clip to the 9v spot on the board and leave the - (black wire) lead connected to the ring of the input jack?

If the previous idea will not work could somebody be kind enough to explain how I would wire the neutrino to use a battery only?

yes, that would work perfectly well. Remember to unplug your guitar cord to keep from draining the battery.
