Hi,
Not really sure if this was the right place to put this but here goes.
Is there any reason why I shouldn't add an LED to this following circuit? It's going to be for some Shure MX202's (http://www.shure.co.uk/products/microflex/mx202) in a portable setup for where I work. The mics work between 11 and 52Vdc with 2.0mA draw.

Will be doing this:

I'm maybe thinking about putting a Zener back to back with the LED as well so the LED dims when the voltage starts dropping, that'll be over the two 9v batteries..... I don't know really.......
Obviously none of this LED stuff is essential but if there's no reason why I shouldn't then I will.
Cheers,
Marcus
