Title: Cherrybomb Troubleshooting
Post by: dtothecha on October 06, 2014, 09:57:17 PM
Recently built a Cherrybomb using BC109Bs. The pedal somewhat works as in it turns on, but the LED does not work and the volume is quite low. From what I can hear, all the controls work fine. What should my steps be in determining the issue with the build?

For the low volume, I would start by checking your transistor orientation.

For the LED, my first guess would be a wiring issue. Would you be able to post some pictures of your build? It's hard to know without seeing.

See if you have any solder joints or any cold soldering. See if you have wired the volume pot correctly, and also check if you haven't changed any component value. Also check the trannys orientation.
