Title: Kingslayer II EQ Mod Question.
Post by: blearyeyes on October 13, 2014, 02:51:23 AM

Will this effect the gain of the circuit or is it effecting the tone only?

I changed components in the tone section to:

R20 = 4K7
R23 = 1K8
C16 = 3N3

It's really just the tone section you'd be affecting. I guess that might affect that gain stage, but it's a makeup gain stage, so it shouldn't be a problem at all.

Thanks Jacob,

If the two resisters control the upper limit and the lower limit, does the Cap set the pivot frequency?

I don't know what this pedal should sound like, but it sounds really, really good to me. The EQ is also in the pocket around 12 noon and goes down to woofy and up to rip your ears off, at least out of my rig. Should be able to dial it in to any amp.
