Title: Morlock - DBD vero
Post by: BaklavaMetal on November 05, 2014, 10:12:43 PM
Hi all
fairly new here, but been lurking for a long while, so i decided to introduce myself with a build.
It's a DBD on Mark's layout, pretty straightforward, only put a 20k trim instead of 12k resistor in ICB feedback loop because my last build was slightly below unity when engaged.

Enclosure is my first try at etching, it's ok i guess, but a little shallow as you can see i sanded a bit of paint in a couple of places. I pretty much followed selfdestroyer's tutorial, it's great. And my LED hole was too big at the end, but i managed.

here are the pics, not great, i only have a camera on my phone

Awesome! That looks so sweet.... If you saw my horribly mangled first enclosures you would feel even better about this awesome build

Great job on your build. Your etch came out great. Do I also spy a old 1590B enclosure with a sponge in it for your soldiering iron? If so, that's a great little hack right there.
